The Espinhaço Mountain Range, located in the center of the state of Minas Gerais hides one of the most beautiful ecological treasures in Brazil: the Cipó National Park, which scenario is composed by steep mountains, beautiful cascades and wide fields covered by different flowers.
This rich and unique ecosystem originated from the savannas of Brazilian Cerrado. is also known as the Brazilian Garden. There you can find a highly specialized vegetation, with more endemic species of flowers than any elsewhere in the world, including orchids, bromeliads, everlasting flowers.
The highlands and rocky formations are the frame for a scenery landscape, with fast rivers, infinite fields and innumerous cascades. By the way, some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Brazil are located in this region.
Among all these cascades, the Tabuleiro Waterfall certainly deserves special attention… It is a 273m (900 ft) cascade free falling in front of a huge "heart shaped" wall, reason why it is also nicknamed the “Loving Fall”.
Despite this bucolic scenario, the Cipó National Park is also one of the best places in Brazil for adventure and outdoor sports. That’s why Biosfera Brasil now offers the Cipó Multisport, the perfect trip for adventurers looking for contact with nature, exciting emotions and a lot of adrenaline.
